She was born in Miami, Florida and completed her undergraduate education at an accelerated pace due to dual enrollment opportunities in high school. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Although her primary language is English, Dr. Franco is also fluent in Spanish.

Gloria Cardenas received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Miami Regional University in December 2023. Prior to coming to the United States, she was a medical doctor specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Venezuela. We are excited to welcome her to Iris Obstetrics & Gynecology February 2025.
